Salām! My name is Milād Ahmadi. I was born on born on 25 December 1996 (yes, Christmas day!) in Tehran Iran.
I was only 7 when my family migrated to Dubai, UAE, where I graduated from highschool.
I then moved once again, this time at my own will, to New York City to attend Parsons, The New School for Design. I graduated with a BFA in Fashion Design in 2019.
Since then, I’ve worn many hats- literally and figuratively.
I’ve designed custom textiles, painted meticulous oil paintings, collaborated on various philanthropic projects, co-founded Rangarang NYC.
My work is eclectic, organic and poetic, informed by diverse influences such as my experiences navigating life in exile, the natural world, ancient history, music and contemporary culture.
